When joining the IRC server, you will see a bot in the users list named "ChatCGP".
You can send the command "!addme" to the bot to add yourself to the queue.
You can also send the command "/msg ChatCGP !addme" in every other channel to add yourself to the queue.
I can't talk in #CG channel! Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. If you added yourself to the queue and it's your turn, you will be asked to repond with "!yes" to join the interview.
The server will allow you to talk in the #CG channel when it's your turn.
How does the queue system work?
The queue operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Join the IRC channel and wait for your turn.
Your position in the queue is determined by the time you joined. When it's your turn,
a staff member will invite you to a private channel for your interview.
How long is the typical wait time?
Wait times vary greatly depending on the number of people in the queue and staff availability.
You can check the current statistics on this page to get an idea of recent wait times.
Be prepared to wait a minimum of 6 hours.
What happens if I disconnect?
If you disconnect from the IRC server and it's your turn, you will lose your place in the queue.
When you reconnect, you will have to re-add yourself to the queue. Make sure you
have a stable connection before joining.
